National Peace Corps Connect Conference

Coming up is the National Peace Corps Connect Conference at the University of California, Berkeley, June 5-6th!  Following is a letter from Glenn Blumhorst, NPCA president, about the event.

“With only three weeks left, I invite you to register for Peace Corps Connect – Berkeley this June 5-6, 2015. Join us for the annual conference of the Peace Corps community!

Prominent members of our community, including Congressmen Sam Farr and John Garamendi, Peace Corps Director Carrie Hessler-Radelet and Meg Garlinghouse of LinkedIn for Good will be sharing their stories. From public servants, to social entrepreneurs, to leaders in the corporate world, we are proud to highlight RPCVs who are working on issues of importance to our community. This is your opportunity to engage with your fellow RPCVs and Peace Corps staff who share the formative foundation of the Peace Corps experience. Register today!

Whether it’s a good story, food, film, business and technology or advocacy on Peace Corps issues, Peace Corps Connect – Berkeley has it all. Participate in a Storytelling Workshop to learn how to best capture the essence of your Peace Corps experience, take part in the Innovation & Entrepreneurship: Resources for RPCVs workshop to walk away with toolkits to start your Peace Corps inspired venture, and hear from leaders of our community to learn about exciting new developments and opportunities.

This is your annual conference. Join us for a weekend of informative panels, hands-on workshops, networking opportunities and a chance to reconnect with your fellow RPCVs. View the full program here and register now for Peace Corps Connect – Berkeley.

I look forward to seeing you there!

In service,
